Argie Wayne Reddell, 88, a resident of Russellville, died Monday, February 13, 2012, at the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 26, 1923, in Newton County to James Mitchell and Leatha Holt Reddell.
He attended Oakland Heights Assembly of God and was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Carl Wayne Reddell; a sister, Julene Via; and his step-mother, Elsie Reddell.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lorene Freeman Reddell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle Ray and Emma Reddell of Dover and Gary Dean and Marlena Reddell of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Earlene and David Holmes of Bella Vista; a daughter-in-law, Linda Reddell Chance; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Silvie and Irene Reddell, Junior and Phyllis Reddell, Clayton and Lucy Reddell, the Rev. Clinton and Golda Fay Reddell, Wilburn and Janell Reddell, James and Dianna Reddell and David and Martha Reddell; a sister, Mary Sue Allen; six grandchildren, Zack Reddell, Kim Wheeler, Carla Conduff, Tanya Byrum, Tawna Daniels and Cary Reddell; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Oakland Heights Assembly of God with the Rev. Leonard Chisum, the Rev. Donnie Chisum and the Rev. Roy Chisum officiating. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Mr. Reddell.

October 18, 1924 - April 15, 2012
Lorene Reddell, 87, a resident of Russellville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 18, 1924, in Pelsor, Arkansas to Louis and Louellar Sipes Freeman. She attended Oakland Heights Assembly of God and retired from Con Agra. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Argie Wayne Reddell; a son, Carl Wayne Reddell; and two brothers, Eddie and Edgar Freeman.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle Ray and Emma Reddell of Dover and Gary Dean and Marlena Reddell of Russellville; a daughter and son-in-law, Earlene and David Holmes of Bella Vista; a daughter-in-law, Linda Reddell Chance; six grandchildren, Zack Reddell, Kim Wheeler, Carla Conduff, Tanya Byrum, Tawna Daniels and Cary Reddell; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Freeman of Hector and George Freeman of Mulberry; and a sister, Viola Freeman Wheeler of Dover.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Oakland Heights Assembly of God with the Rev. Leonard Bob Chisum and the Rev. Roy Chisum officiating. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Freeman, Nathan Bradley, Cary Reddell, Terry Svolos, Jason Casey and Zack Reddell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Mrs. Reddell.
