Minnie L. Maroney, 76, of Huttig, died Tuesday night in a local hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Maroney was born Feb. 21, 1893 in Huttig and was the daughter of James and Mary Hux Sehon. She was a member of the Harper Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, G. E. Maroney, Huttig; three sons, Charles T. Maroney, Abilene, Tex., Gordon Maroney, Jr., Smackover, and Wilson Maroney, Huttig; two daughters, Mrs. J.C. Howell, Magnolia, and Mrs. J. W. Sehon, Huttig; a brother, J. W. Sehon, Huttig; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Harper Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Lavell Tinsley and the Rev. Reuben Ethridge officiating. Burial will follow in Harper Springs Cemetery under direction of Rumph Mortuary.
