Maranda Kay Russell of Bradford, Arkansas
January 21, 1983 - June 24, 2020

Maranda Kay Russell, 37, of Bradford, formerly of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 21, 1983 in Jonesboro to Randy Russell and Rita Mashburn. Maranda was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church in Jonesboro and also attended Bradford Assembly. She loved butterflies and tie dye.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sherman “Shorty” and Thelma Mashburn.

She is survived by her father, Randy Russell (Minnie) of Jonesboro; her mother, Rita Huddleston (Tommy) of Bradford; paternal grandparents, Harold and Viola Russell of Jonesboro; sister, Erica Brown (Kelly) of Harrisburg; nephews, Reid and Mason Brown; niece, Shelby Brown; her dog, Beau; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at People’s Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie. Funeral will follow immediately at 12 p.m. with Harold Russell, Gary Mashburn, Steve Alexander, and Phil Redding officiating. Interment will follow in Powhatan Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Marion McDaniel, Andrew Mashburn, Austin Mashburn, Bobby McDaniel, Joey Alexander, and Brian Alexander.
