June 30, 1931 - October 4, 2022
Wavie Olene Evans Watts, 91 of Corning, died Tuesday October 4, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center.
She was born June 30, 1931 in Clover Bend, AR to Eutah Evans & Ora Eva Voyles Evans. She was a quilter and liked to crochet. She was a devoted Christian mother who loved her children, grandchildren, and her family with all her heart. She came to Arkansas from Arizona with her family in 1994. She was a very independent woman and worked at a steel mill in IL. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eutah and Eva; husband, Arvil Watts; daughters, Deborah Hatman and Bonnie Cain; brothers, Tracy Evans and Terry Evans; and sisters, Jean Evans, Anita Evans, & Madlyn Cates.
Wavie is survived by her daughters, Janet (Rick) Lopez of Phoenix, AZ and Lesa (Robert) Molina of Montgomery, IL; son, William (Virginia) Watts of Corning; sisters, Betty (Bobby) Clements of Ravenden, Thomy (Joe) Tillman of Imboden, and Billie (Neal) Hulon of Jonesboro; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday October 7, 2022 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge from 12:00PM-2:00PM.
Funeral services will be Friday October 7, 2022 beginning at 2:00PM in the Funeral Chapel at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Rob Combs officiating.
Burial will be in Clover Bend Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge and Lynn, Arkansas.
