Mildred L. Poynter, 87, a lifelong resident of Dover, died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Daughter of Henry Harland and Rena Mary Girardot Chilton.
Preceded in death by:
Husband, James Edward Poynter;
a daughter, Mary Troy;
a grandson, Danny Ivy;
a great-granddaughter, Anastasia Garcia;
two brothers, Henry Carl and Rubert Eual Chilton;
three sisters, Alma Chilton, Etta Belle Morris and an infant sister.
Survived by:
her son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Rita Poynter of Dardanelle;
a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jane Chilton of Dover;
six grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral at 10: a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at Shinn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Chronister officiating.
Burial at McFadden Cemetery at Dover under direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Pallbearers: Jody and Jeremiah Poynter, Michael Oswalt, Kyle Lynch, Bob Morris and Jason Neeley.
