*Obituary

Madibee Jane Hollingshead Spradlin, 89 of Higginson passed away on July 15, 2018 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born on November 11, 1928 to the late JC and Hazel Hollingshead in Sidon, Arkansas.

She was a faithful wife for over 53 years to Esley Spradlin and has continued on since his death over 20 years ago. She was a very caring mother who was always there to help others any way needed. She was a hard worker with a green thumb who was still mowing her own lawn and tending her garden at the age of 89.

She was seen as a very special person by her children and others as they watched the faithful life she led by reading, believing and living by the Bible.

She showed that she trusted the Lord through all circumstances that she experienced in her life.

She not only loved her children and grandchildren very much but she also loved all of God's creatures as she was frequently found to rescue strays.

Her main goal in life was to lead everyone she came in contact with to Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene, Delbert, Ed, Vernon and Jewell. She is survived by her four children, Judy Moore of Higginson, Sue Stephens of Higginson, Linda Parsons of Higginson, and Wesley Spradlin of Lee Summit, Missouri; three brothers, Lloyd, Ivan and Roy; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Her faithful companions Mindy, Trixie, Tom and Biscuit along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Spradlin will be held at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy.
