Charles Edward Webber, 81 years old of Route 1, Rudy, Arkansas was dead on arrival at a local hospital Monday, March 29, 1971.
A native of Osborne county, Cheyenne, Kansas, he was born February 15, 1890, the son of Jacob E. and Lillie Sherwood Webber. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist church and a retired farmer.
Survivors were his wife, Grace Donald Webber; two brothers, J. E. Webber of Sistersville, West Virginia and George E. Webber of San Bernadino, California; a sister Rose of Wichita, Kansas.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the 81 Church. Silas Harris and Douglas Peters were the officiating ministers. Burial was in Mt. McCurry cemetery with Edwards Funeral Home in charge.
