Sandra Mae Shipp Thacker, 50, of Alma died Monday, April 28, 2008, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by both parents, Alve and Patsy Robinson Shipp.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Don Thacker and wife Faith, and James Thacker, all of Alma; a sister, Linda Harris of California; a brother, Johnny Shipp of Alma; and six grandchildren, Stormy Knight of Fort Smith, Tyler and Ricky DeWayne, both of Alma, Khristopher Thacker of New Mexico, Kighleeh and Inez Thacker, both of California. Pallbearers: Terry Thacker, Bobby Johnson, Stanley Rogers, William Thacker, Elvis Thacker, Billy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers: Timmy Sivage, Steven Shipp, David Walls, Brian Walls.
