Lewis Walker, 70 years old of Howe, Oklahoma, formerly of Rudy, Arkansas died Wednesday, June 16, 1971 at a Poteau, Oklahoma hospital following a short illness.

He was born at Rudy on November 2, 1900, the son of Marshall and Ida Mae Earnest Walker and was a retired contstruction worker.

Survivors were his wife, Pearl Graham Walker; a son Bill of Enid, Oklahoma; three daughters Lenora, Betty and Maxine all of Ponca City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Edd of Van Buren, Elbert of Spiro and Frank of Fort Smith; four sisters, Carrie of Alma, Edna of Rudy, Mary of Picher, Oklahoma and Ruth of Phoenix, Arizona; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held in Ocker Memorial chapel at 2 p.m. Friday. Charles Graham and R.E. Pixley were the officiating ministers. Burial was in Mt. McCurry cemetery.
