August 3, 1934 - May 24, 2018
Mary Ellen Otwell Kincannon Dorough, 83, of Hot Springs, passed away May 24, 2018. She was born August 3, 1934 to Clyde and Alice (Willingham) Otwell in DeRoach, Arkansas. Mary was a loving and compassionate mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a faithful Christian and was a charter member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She considered her career a ministry, serving as a church secretary for Grand Avenue Baptist Church, Open Door Baptist Church, Hot Springs Baptist Temple and First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands James Kincannon and Luther Dorough; Father and Mother in-law Walter and Mae Kincannon; and son Greg Kincannon.
Loving survivors include sons Steven Kincannon, Kris Kincannon (Dianah), Eric Kincannon (Rebecca); daughter Lynne Kincannon; step-children Lon Cockman (Patricia) and Shirley Chapman; siblings Wayne Otwell (Patricia), Darrell Otwell (Cindi), Murlene Hopkins (Richard), and Linda Behrens; grandsons Michael Kincannon (Ashley) and Joshua Kincannon, Brady Kincannon, Steven Kincannon (Kelly), and Jason Kincannon; granddaughters Kacie Stephens (Kevin), Alison Kincannon and Sophia Kincannon; step-grandchildren Colton Ham, Wyatt Dempsey (Christina), Robbie Pace (Shelly), Patrick Cockman (Jessica), Sandy Chapman, Alana Dempsey (Anthony Hughes), Lona Vasquez (Edward), Haley and Ashley Ham; great-grandchildren Emma Grace, Jacob Clenney, Laura Kincannon, Emily Kincannon, Kloey Kincannon, and Liberty Kincannon; step-great-grandchildren Phillip, Ashley and William Chapman, Kayla, Katie, Elizabeth, and Alex Vasquez, Kayla, Sarah, and Brian Cockman, Andrea and Mathew Pace, Teagan and Caden Hughes, Connor and Dylan Stephens.
A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. The service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Capaci officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Joshua, and Steven Kincannon, Lon Cockman, Phillip Chapman, and Bill Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers are Wyatt Dempsey, David Chittum, Carolann Capaci, Carolyn Riggs, Gospel Light Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, and Drs. Logan and Larrison.
Memorial donations may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church.
