Rachel Coatney Milne

Mrs. Rachel Milne, 66 years old, 322 South 12 Street, Van Buren died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1971 in a local hospital. Wife of Harold Monroe Milne. She was born at Mountainburg on April 20, 1905, the daughter of Elbert and Nacy Johnston Coatney and was member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Keith Milne of Hadlock, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Drummond of the home; four brothers, Calvin Coatney of Greenwood, Joe Coatney of Mountainburg, Rebeun Coatney of Fort Smith and Ben Coatney of Alma; two sisters, Mrs. Odus(Ruth) Meadors of Alma and Mrs. Jenny Barnett of Fort Smith; and four grandchildren. Funeral service wa held in Ocker Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Ediwn Burris, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church officiated. Burial was in Mt. McCurry Cemetery.
