Dean Ernestine Chenault of Hot Springs went home to be with the Lord Friday morning July 20th, 2012 in her home. She was born Dean E. Peters on March 12, 1919 in Reydell, Arkansas to Fred and Annie McGraw Peters.
She is predeceased by one son, Eugene Albert Pike Jr.; two husbands, Eugene Albert Pike Sr. and Houston Thurston Chenault.
She is survived by her daughters & their husbands, Allene & Mike Romano, Freddie & Jerry Meyers, Judy Stockdale, Marlene & Jim Chapman all of Hot Springs, Debbie & Larry Payne of Lonsdale, Sally & Ross Ferland of South Port, Florida and Marilyn & Jackie Hodges of North Little Rock; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Pike, sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, John Howard, Ty Payne, Chip Pike, Kenny Childress, Michael Romano and Mark Hodges.
Honorary pallbearers are Braden Echols, Drew Dickson, the staff of Ft. Lake Health & Rehab and Odyssey Hospice.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Dezort officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Memorials have been designated to Hillcrest Childrens Home, 2325 Malvern Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901 or Odyssey Hospice Services, 10800 Financial Center Parkway, #380, Little Rock, AR 72211.
