Hazel (Everett) Parker, age 84, of Hot Springs, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at her home. She was born September 8, 1927 in Junction City, Louisiana to the late Robert and Bullah Everett.

Mrs. Parker was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs. She was a retired English school teacher and also coached ladies basketball. She was an avid Razorback fan, was a Life Master Bridge player, and was a great cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard D. Parker and eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Parker of the home; her daughter, Judy Parker of Memphis, Tennessee and Donna Parker of New Orleans, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Madison Parker and Malissa Parker; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Billie Ray of Monroe, Louisiana, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Hot Springs with Pastor John McCallum officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs.

Family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P.M. until service time begins at the church on Thursday.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Parker to First Baptist of Hot Springs, 2350 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901.

Arrangements under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas (501-315-4047).
