Danny Ray Holsted, 39, of Rudy died Saturday, July 2, 2005, in an accident. He was the owner and operator of Holsted Trucking and a graduate of Mountainburg High School class of 1984. He was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God in Alma.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Mary Holsted; two daughters, Carla Holsted of Mountainburg and Kristina Montgomery of Rudy; two sons, Danny Ray Jr. of Warren and Zachary Daniel of Oklahoma; his parents, Zella and Vernon Holsted of Rudy; a grandmother, Agnes Barenberg of Rudy; three sisters, Pam Tollett of Rudy, Tammiejo Young of Ore City, Texas, and Dallas Kiley of Rudy; three brothers, Danny Lee Holsted of Ore City, Matt Holsted of Mountainburg and Dale Holsted of Fort Smith; three grandsons, P.J., Ty Ty and Anthony, and one granddaughter, C.C.
Funeral service was held July 6 at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren with burial Mount McCurry Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Brian Mongo, Joey Maxwell, Michael Berry, Aaron Brantley, Jonathan Roberts, Dustin Holsted and Chad Holsted.
