Lonnie Jean(Sowells)Gibson of Alma(Crawford County), Arkansas, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Peachtree Pallative Care Unit in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith(Sebastian County), Arkansas. She was 49 years young.
Ms. Gibson was born in 1958 to Bob and Virginia Sowells. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Alma, Arkansas and a homemaker.
Ms. Gibson is survived by her husband: Christopher Todd Gibson of the home; 3 daughters: Darlina Owens and Kelly Gibson, both of Haworth, Oklahoma, and Michelle Kirby of Ashdown, Arkansas; 2 sons: Trampas Hilton and Dylan Gibson, both of Alma, Arkansas; her parents; one sister: Deborah Reed of Alma, Arkansas; 3 brothers: Robert Sowells of Clarksville, Arkansas, Jeffrey Sowells of Graphic, Arkansas, and Michael Sowells of Kibler, Arkansas; and 5 precious grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at 2:00p.m. at Ocker Chapel in Alma, Arkansas. The Rev. Tom Steward and Brother Doyle Martin, officiated the service.
Pallbearers were: Randon, Mike and Rayson Gibson; Robert, Jeff and Michael Sowells.
Honorary pallbearers were: Bobby Reed, Shannon Parks and Chris Willis.
