Mr. Gilstrap died Friday in a Van Buren, Arkansas nursing home. He was a retired farmer and member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Gilstrap who passed away in April 1974.
Funeral services for Denver Gilstrap, 91, of Route 1 Rudy, Arkansas were hald Tuesday in Ocker Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Archie Boyd officiating. Burial was in Mount McCurry Cemetery by Ocker Funeral Home.
Survivors include four daughters, Margaret, Lucille, Margie, and Bernice; three sons, 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Mary Gilstrap, 83 years old Rudy, Arkansas area resident, were scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m. at Ocker Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Archie Boyd, pastor of the Goddard Memorial Methodist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas, officiating. Burial was in Mt. McCurry Cemetery with Ocker Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Gilstrap, who lived on Route 1, Rudy, Arkansas died Tuesday morning at her home. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She and her husband, observed their 66th wedding anniversary on December 1.
She was survived by her husband, Denver Gilstrap (now deceased November 1978); four sons; four daughters, Margaret, Margie, Lucille and Bernice; four brothers Tom, Roy, Albert and Frank; 27 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
