*Obituary
Barbara Anita Atwell, 53, of Rudy died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Kenner Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle; a daughter, Christy Scott of Rudy; a son, Buddy Atwell of Rudy; her mother, Gladys Harp of Van Buren; two brothers, Farris and Wayne Harp, both of Lavaca; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Marston, Lee and Kenny Pixley, David Atwell, Kenny Henderson and Terry Dray.
