Dr. Charles Raymond Ward, 65, of Van Buren died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, in a local hospital. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a Mason and Shriner. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College. He was a member of the Arkansas and American Chiropractic Association, a member and ex-president of the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce and member and ex-president of the Van Buren Lions Club. He was a member of the Van Buren Planning Commission for 10 years.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel of Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores.
Pallbearers will be Ed Witt, Scott Neal, Bill Thomas, Johnny Parker, James McGhee, Roy Bulloch and Harold Loyd.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Fort Smith and Van Buren Chiropractic Society.
