Darrell O. Ward, 53, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed from this life on January 20, 1956 at his home of a heart attack.
He was born March 22, 1902 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Clay and Eva Farrow Ward.
He was an employee of Conco Oil Company.
He was survived by his wife, Rebecca Clark Ward; two daughters, Leslye Quinn of Lake Charles and Eve Jo Mertena of Seattle, Wash.; two sons, Darrel of Lake Charles and Thomas of Stover, Mosister; a sister, Florence Ward Byars and a brother, Clay Ward Jr.
Funeral services were held at Wood Memorial Christian Church in Van Buren with the Rev. W.B. Miller officiating.
