Hilda Jean Watkins, 79, of Van Buren died Friday, May 28, 2004, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, The Red Hat Society and the Van Buren and the Van Buren Garden Gate Club. She was a charter member of the Crawford County Democratic Association and the Arkansas Federation of Democratic Women's Club. She was the widow of Eugene Watkins.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by a daughter, two sisters, a brother, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
