Tilford Wilbanks, 83, of Van Buren, AR. entered into rest on Thursday, September 9, 2010 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born May 30, 1927 in Mulberry, AR.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict, 32nd degree Mason and a member of The Belle Point Lodge #20, and a retired service manager for Ryder Truck Rental.

He was preceded in death by his brother Carl Wilbanks Jr.

He is survived by his wife Billie of 63 years, two daughters, Hollie Woods and husband Kenneth of Van Buren, AR. and Christy Mayo and husband Robert of Van Buren, AR., two sons, Buddy Wilbanks and wife Reba of Mulberry, AR. and John Wilbanks and wife Sandi of Redland, OK., five grandchildren Michael Haley, Erik Mayo, Rachel Mayo, Crystal Jensen and Shonn Wilbanks and four great grandchildren Ethan Haley, Mikayla Calico, Mia Jensen and Trevor Wilbanks.

Funeral service was at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers were Jim Scholle, Fay Hunter, Don Justice and Charles Peters.
Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Broussard, Harold Bibbs, Steve Peters, Dillon Marr and James Wigley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.

Billie Wilbanks, 89, of Van Buren, AR entered into rest on Monday, April 13, 2020 in Alma, AR.
She was born August 24, 1930 in Mulberry, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tilford, of 63 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Hollie Woods and husband Kenneth of Van Buren and Christy Mayo and husband Robert of Van Buren, two sons, Buddy Wilbanks and wife Reba of Mulberry and John Wilbanks and wife Sandi of Redland, OK, five grandchildren Michael Haley, Erik Mayo, Rachel Mayo, Mia Jensen and Trevor Wilbanks, and three great grandchildren, Canaan Wilbanks, Averie Grace Wilbanks and Danielle Rose Cummins.

Graveside Service will be at 11 am Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. Public viewing will be from 10 am until 4 pm on Wednesday, April 15th at Lewis funeral Chapel Fort Smith. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be observed at both the public viewing and the graveside service (following the 6-foot rule, no handshakes, and no hugs) per mandated funeral home guidelines. The family appreciates the observance of social distancing at this critical time in our nation for the well being of everyone. Arrangements are under direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
