O.B. Wade 73, of Van Buren died Monday, June 22, 1992 in Van Buren.
He was born September 23, 1918 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Ota Byon and Gay Foster Wade Sr.
He was a retired brakeman-conductor for Missouri Pacific Railroad Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Van Buren, where he was a deacon and chairman of ushers.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman and Masonic Lodge No. 6.
He was survived by his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Connie Lollis of Van Buren, Wanda Sechrest of Russellville and Elizabeth Alexander of Laguna Beach, California; two sons, Ronnie of Monroe, La., and Phillip of Russellville; a sister, Carolyn Triplett of Tyler, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 25 in First Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Mildred Lee Wade, 77 of Van Buren died Wednesday, February 26, 1997 in a local hospital.
She was a member of Van Buren First Baptist Church, a homemaker and a lifetime member of the PTA. She was a member of Van Buren Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the widow of O.B. Wade.
She was survived by three daughters, Connie Lollis of Van Buren, Wanda Sechrest of Russellville and Elizabeth Alexander of LaGuna Beach, California; two sons, Ronnie of Monroe, La., and Phillip of Auburn, Nebraska; four sisters, Virginia Fred of DeKalb, Ill., Gertruce Glifford of Denver, Frances Gillis of Truman and Bobbie Mooney of Clarksdale, Miss.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Ocker Funeral Home with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
