Mary Leonia Daugherty, 79, of Cabot died Sunday, January 25, 2015. She was born April 25, 1935 in Union County, Georgia to the late Floyd and Nola Self Collins. Mrs. Daugherty was a member of North Hills Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and the outdoors. She was a wonderful cook and mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daugherty was preceded in death by her first husband, Elra Tanner and three brothers; Royce, Edward and Francis Collins. Mrs. Daugherty is survived by her husband, James Daugherty, her children; Mike Tanner (Karen) and Cathy Mason (Cliff), her step-children; June Simpson and Jerri Daugherty, her sisters; Hazel Daniel, Willamae Matheson and Lorraine Wise as well as eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Daugherty to North Hills Baptist Church; 9618 Hwy 107, North Little Rock, AR 72120 or Arkansas Children's Hospital at www.archildrens.org. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Brother Cliff Hutchins officiating.
