March 28, 1885 - June 23, 1971
Mrs. Lecy Kitchens Taylor, age 86, formerly of Waldo, died in a local hospital Wednesday. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Maul Road Church of Christ. Survivors include 2 brothers, Ira Kitchens of Waldo; Carl Kitchens of Longview, Texas; one sister Mrs. Bess Chamberlin of Camden, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Camden Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial was in Columbia Cemetery at Waldo. (Camden News - June 25, 1971)
