Barbara Lee Jones, 80, of Cabot, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. She was born September 28, 1940 in Jacksonville to the late Oscar Lee and Iva Dail Roberts Morden. Mrs. Jones loved to bake and cook and worked as a baker for Kroger for 25 years. She also had a caring, servant’s heart and owned and operated three residential care facilities with a total capacity of 87 residents. She was a wonderful caregiver to her residents and their families. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Jones; sons, Floyd Ray Jones, Jr. and Ronnie Jones; sister, Betty Jo McMillan and brothers, Kenneth Morden and Dale Morden.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her grandchildren, David Lee Jones, David Allen Jones and Rainey Elizabeth Jones; great grandchildren, Ethan Seth Jones, Alexis Nichole Jones, Jaxon Parker Jones, Liam Jones and Darian Jones, as well as her siblings, Loraine Halcumb and Oscar Morden, Jr.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020 in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Calvin Barnes officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the funeral home, (501) 982-2136.
