Juanita Ann Duch, of Jacksonville went home to be an angel on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 81 years young. She was born Sunday, July 11, 1937 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to the late Carl and Ellen Boyce. She married Daniel Duch on July 26, 1957 and they enjoyed over thirty years of marriage before his death in 1991. Mrs. Duch worked in the Men’s Department at Dillard for more than twenty years and was also a substitute teacher for Warren Dupree and Pinewood Elementary schools. She enjoyed trips to Branson, but found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her “grandkids” and “great-grandbabies”. She never met a stranger and will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two children, Deborah and Marie Duch; two siblings, Alice Jean Moore and Hazel Young.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Duch (Lorne Wagner) of Lonoke, Linda (Ron) Hannenberg of Enid, Oklahoma; siblings, Billy (Laverne) Boyce of Searcy and Virginia (Jimmy) Roland of Colt. Other survivors include three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at the funeral home. The family wishes to say a special thank you to the staff and doctors at Spring Creek for the love and compassion shown to “Momma” during her golden years.
