November 17, 1962 - October 21, 2019
Kristina Lynn Elkin, 56, died Oct. 21, 2019, with her husband and son by her side at her favorite place in the world, Miracle Springs Resort in Desert Hot Springs.
She was born Nov. 17, 1962, in Anaheim, and at time of death lived in Calimesa.
Kristina lived most of her life in Wrightwood. She attended Serrano High School the year it opened in 1977. In 1986, she met her husband of 33 years, Christopher Elkin. Together, they owned and operated multiple local businesses while raising their two sons, Daniel and Gregory.
Her interests included family and traveling. She devoted much of her time and energy as a mother to her two sons.
Kristina is survived by her husband, Christopher Elkin; two sons, Daniel and Gregory Elkin; and her mother, Beth Hardison King.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at the Wrightwood Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
