Aubrey Rozell, 80,of Route 4, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Monday, February 29, 1988 at a Van Buren nursing Home.

A retired plumber and Baptist minister, he was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, three dughters, three sons, two sisters, two brothers, 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with Rev. Gilbert Pixley officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery with grandsons as Pallbearers.

July 30, 1909 - May 16, 1967

Mrs. Wretha Rozell who was 58 years old on July 30,1966 died on Sunday morning, May 16, 1967 as she prepared breakfast for her family including Mr. and Mrs. Paul Norvell and family of Fort Smith, Arkansas who had gone up there on Saturday to be present for Mother's Day. She had not been sick and was visiting with the family and having fun in her usual way until she was stricken with a heart seizure and fell dead without warning.

A native of Crawford county, Arkansas she had lived in the White Water area and later near Van Buren until recent years when they moved to Tulsa and engaged in a plumbing business.

Fitzgerald Funeral Home of Tulsa was in charge of the funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in Eight-One church north of Rudy, Arkansas. Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery at Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors were her husband (Now deceased February 29, 1988); six sons; and three daughters, Margie, Betty and Wilma.

Her husband Aubrey Richard Rozell who was well known in the Van Buren area and has a host of relatives here was not well. He recently spent several days in the hospital.
