Iran I. Foster "Doc" Godwin, 66, of 6504 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Friday, October 4, 1985 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital.
He was the owner of Godwin Auto Parts before he retired and a member of Van Buren Masonic Lodge No. 6. the Van Buren chapter of the Royal Arch and the Amrita Grotto, and the First Baptist Church in Van Buren.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters; Vickie Lee and Janie Christie; three sons; a sister, Reva; two brothers; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with Masonic graveside services at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Murl Walker and George Domerese officated the services. Arrangements were by Ocker Funeral Home.

Peggy Jackson, 72, of Sallisaw died Saturday, July 10, 2004, in Fayetteville. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of I.F. Godwin and James Jackson.
Memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial of cremains at Gracelawn Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughers, a son, four brothers, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
