Mrs. Bernice Pinkerton, 89, of Van Buren, died Friday, February 24, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of Peter Isaac and Willie Lela Teague Weese.

She was a member of Maple Shade Church of the Nazarene in Alma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Pinkerton. They were married married 19 Apr 1944 in Crawford Coutny, Arkansas

She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Huhn, of Van Buren; a son, Bob Pinkerton and his wife Karen of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Monique Eaton and husband, David of Lisle, Ill., Brandon Pinkerton and wife Camille of Jenks, Oklahoma and Brittney Peace of Fayetteville; and eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Brenden and Jacob Eaton, McKenzie Eaton, William and Ryan Peace and Zachary and Rachel Pinkerton.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Pinkerton, Justin Eaton, Brenden Eaton and Jacob Eaton.
