Bentley Richard Oden, 1, of Van Buren died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in his home. He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfathers, Cletis Stockton, Sonny Oden and maternal grandfather, Safar Hashmi.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his parents, Sina and Breck Oden of Van Buren; a sister, Bryslin Oden of the home; maternal grandparents, Rose and Don Brown of Van Buren and J.D. and Vernice Welch of Lavaca; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Sherry Oden of Van Buren and Becky and B.J. Jansen of Van Buren; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Stockton of Van Buren; and great-grandparents, Glen and Alivern McDonald of Van Buren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Fawaad Welch, Brannon Oden, Brent Oden, Danny Strother, Heath Jones and Adam Pham.
