Mrs. Rosetta King Daniels was born May 11, 1954, to the late Mr. Roosevelt King Jr. and Mrs. Ella Wea Witherspoon King. Rosetta departed this life on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, in Pine Bluff, AR.
She was a life-long residence of Monticello, AR. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and worked as a licensed beautician for many years. She pursued her career as a warm-hearted registered nurse at Drew Memorial Hospital as well as Desha County Hospital in Dumas, AR, until she was stricken with illness. She was a member of Holy Divine
Spiritual Church of Lacey.
Rosetta was united in holy matrimony June 22, 1974, to her loving husband, Mr. Loman Daniels. To this union, one child was born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, one sister, Lee Ester King; two brothers, Johnny Ray and Lee Edward King; and one granddaughter, Toni Lynn Green.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Erika Daniels Green; one special daughter, Dana Davis; two grandsons, Treyvon J. and DeVantre J. Daniels; one granddaughter, Candis (Fredric) Benton; great grandchildren, Ivyana Daniels, Major Daniels, Ellaiya Lee Daniels, Kaleb, Kennedy, Egypt, and Italee Benton; a special great grandchild, Caiden Thomas; seven brothers, Benny (Betty) King and Bufus King, both of St. Louis, MO, Carl (Dianne) King, Roosevelt (Jennifer) King III, Tommy (Ann) King, Richard King and Michael King, all of Monticello, AR; four sisters, Ruby King of St. Louise, MO, Marie Davis King, Mary Lou Ware King of California, and Brenda King Kelvin of Monticello, AR; mother-in-law, Onnie Daniels, of Monticello, AR; several uncles, aunts, brother and sisters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lacey Cemetery.
