Helen Geneva Langdon, 90, of Jacksonville, died on May 11, 2016 in Jacksonville. She was born on February 7, 1926 in Coy, AR to the late Willie and Rosie (Miller) Smith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Roy Marple, second husband; Sam Langdon, one brother; Kenneth Smith, sisters; Ruth Peeks and Florence Gearhart.
Helen was of the Pentecostals faith and retired from Franklin Electric.
Survivors include her children; Roy Marple,and wife, Shirley of Beebe, Linda Dedmon, and husband, Jeff, of Jacksonville, Geneva Hearn, and husband, Stanley, of Ward, Jeanette Quesinberry,and husband, Ron, of Cabot, Sammy Langdon, and wife, Carolyn of Cabot, Kathy Perry of England, Billy Langdon, and wife, Lisa, of Jacksonville, sixteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, four sisters; Lois Rose, Katherine Williams, Joyce Harris, Agnes Mayhew, and one brother; Claude Smith.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Brooke officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136. The family would like to acknowledge Cameron Holmes for her special care.
