Mary Sue Partain, 78 of Van Buren died Tuesday, November 18, 1997 in a local hospital.
She was born August 10, 1919 in Ozark to David S. and Buleah Owen Partain.
She was a member of of Van Buren First Presbyterian Church, a graduate of the University of Arkansas and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
She was a former employee of Crawford County Department of Human Services and Fort Chaffee.
She was survived by a brother, Judge David Partain of Van Buren; one niece, Paige of Boston, Mass.; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Funeral services were held in Ocker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
