Wife of David Owen Partain
Norma Lee Partain Norma Lee Partain died on Monday, February 18, 2013, at The Colonnades in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She was born in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, on August 8, 1928, the daughter of Virgil and Willie Mathews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, David Owen Partain.
Before moving to Charlottesville in 2004, Norma lived in Van Buren, Arkansas, for almost 50 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Garden Club. Norma will be remembered by those who knew her for her warmth, grace, and sense of humor. She had a passion for art and loved visiting museums while traveling with her friends and family. She was a talented artist herself, exhibiting her works throughout Northwest Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter, Paige Zelikow; and son-in-law, Philip, of Charlottesville; and two grandchildren, Carolyn and Alex Zelikow.
A memorial service will be held at The Colonnades in Charlottesville at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013.
