Visitation will begin at noon followed by a funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Thornsberry Cemetery. Bob Gene Donohew, 83, of Springdale, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born February 8, 1936 in Sulphur Springs to John and Martha (Owens) Donohew. Bob was a hard worker and a talented woodcrafter. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques, watching old TV shows and westerns and music. He especially loved time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Louise (Wilson) Donohew in 2013; a daughter, Kathy Smith; twins, Karen and Aaron Donohew; a sister, Imogene; and two brothers, Billy and Jimmy.
He is survived by four children, Tricia Perry and husband Steven of Springdale, Ardith Johnson and husband Donnie of Lowell, Robby Donohew and wife Debbie of Lincoln, Darrel Donohew and wife Darla of Springdale; four brothers, Sam Donohew, Junior Donohew, Lee Donohew, Laymon Donohew; two sisters, Mary Holland and Linda Mercer; 16 grandchildren, Niklas Perry, Sabrina Vargas, Chrystal Johnson, Melissa Meyer, Amanda Gomez, Amy Patino, Sherry Donohew, Josh Donohew, D.J. Donohew, Chad Donohew, Billy Donohew, Nicole Trammell, Ashley Bohannan, Amber Marion, Hunter Jones, Fischer Jones; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A service was held Thursday, February 21, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with interment will be at Thornsberry Cemetery.

SPRINGDALE — Shirley Louise Donohew, 70, of Springdale, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center. She was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Vinita, Okla., to Bert and Fern Thronbrue Wilson.
Shirley was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, outings, and always gave good advice.
She was preceded in death by three children, Kathy Smith in 2007, and infant twins, Karen and Aaron Donohew.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Donohew, of the home; four children, Tricia Perry of Springdale, Ardith Johnson of Lowell, Robby Donohew of Lincoln, Darrel Donohew of Springdale; three brothers, Joe and Ralph Wilson, both of Oklahoma, Archie Wilson of Kansas; one sister. Dorothy, of New York; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon today, Dec. 31, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Thornsberry Cemetery.
