Gary W. Howard, 73, of Henderson, Texas, passed from this life Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, in Tyler, Texas.
He was born June 13, 1939, in Seligman, Mo., to the late Ralph and Marie Inman Howard.
Upon graduation from high school, Gary served his country in the U.S. Navy. He later owned and operated Howard Radiator and retired after many years of service. Gary was a member of First Christian Church in Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Sabra Howard of Henderson; two sons, Denny Howard and wife Wadene of Van Buren and Mark Howard and wife Yvonne of Fort Smith; a daughter, Claudette Welch and husband Kevin of Henderson; a sister, Charlotte Clegg of Tomball, Texas; and two grandchildren, Aileen K. Pino and Marcus A. Howard.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Mrs. Sabra Wallace Howard, 83, of Henderson, passed from this life on February 28, 2021, at her home in Henderson.
Mrs. Howard was born November 29, 1937, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Claud and Alta Mae Wallace.
She married the love of her life, Gary, and from that union came their three greatest blessings. Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and co-owner of Howard Radiator. She was a long-standing member of First Christian Church. Mrs. Howard will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her and had experienced her laughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary Howard.
Survivors include her sons, Denny Howard and wife Wadene of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Mark Howard and wife Yvonne of Aurora, Colorado; daughter, Claudette Welch and husband Kevin of Henderson; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
