David A. Fisher, 76, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at his home. He was a retired astronomer for the federal government, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of Christ.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gracelawn Cemetery Pavilion of Van Buren under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline and half-brother, Stan Andrews of San Francisco.
