Raymond Dodd, 76, of Van Buren went to be with his Lord and Saviour Friday, April, 24, 2015 in a local nursing home.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and former Co/Owner and salesman for Dodd Mattress Company in Van Buren. He was a lifelong resident of Van Buren. He loved doing things for other people and did not want others to do for him and he loved making his garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Sylvia Breeden Dodd; and two sisters, Betty Mulkey and Velda Bufkin.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, June of the home; two daughters, Lisa Roe and Nadine Moore, both of Van Buren; one son, Troy Dodd of Van Buren; one brother Donnie Dodd of Van Buren; three sisters, Anna Harris, Brenda Scott, and Barbara Joyce, all of Van Buren; eight grandchildren and twenty one great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Michael Roe, Jeff Dodd, Bobby Moore III, Dennis Crowder, Billy Crowder and Ray Kelly.
