Donald Henry “Donnie” Dodd, 70, of Van Buren passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, in his home.
He was the former owner of Dodd Mattress Co. in Van Buren, and a lifelong resident of Crawford County.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Olen Henry and Sylvia Breeden Dodd; a daughter, Tina Kelly; a brother, Raymond Dodd; and two sisters, Velda Bufkin and Betty Mulkey.
Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Lavita Dodd of the home; two daughters, Karen Gentry and husband Don and Tracy White and husband Jack, all of Van Buren; two sons, Donald Dodd Jr. and wife Julie of Van Buren and Gary Dodd and wife Amy Dawn of Bryant; three sisters, Brenda Scott, Anna Harris and husband Wesley and Barbara Joyce and husband Keith, all of Van Buren; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Austin Dodd, Jackie White, Corey White, Ray Kelly, Glen Kelly and Andy Dodd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Keneth Bufkin, Bobby Joe Mulkey, Brandon Dodd, Steve Brunk, Troy Dodd, Michael King and Roger Dale Smith.
