Marcella DeWitt, 88, of Van Buren passed away September 3, 2012 in Van Buren. She was a homemaker, a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith and a longtime resident of this area. She is preceded in death by her husband; Hoyt DeWitt, a son and both parents.
She is survived by three daughters; Sandra Nelke of Pocola, Oklahoma, Joyce Needham of Van Buren, Janette Daniels of Fort Smith; two sons, John Tedford of Cameron, Oklahoma, Kenneth Tedford of Fort Smith; three sisters, Alvina Mason of Pocola, Oklahoma, Georgia Burns of Pocola, Lura Bell Hayes of Barling; brother, Arlie Curd of Van Buren; stepdaughter, Brenda Cyrus of Rock Island, Oklahoma; stepson, Randy DeWitt of Corpus Christi, Texas, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bud Lomon, Mikeal Tedford, Jerry Tedford, James Tedford, Allen Tedford and Damon Mason.
