Billy Joe Bourlon 78 of Van Buren died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Crawford Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Van Buren.
He was a retired superintendent for the Van Buren Water Dept and a former superintendent of the Midwest City Oklahoma Water Dept.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Bourlon, and son, Joey Bourlon, two sisters, Irene Walker & Opal Vermillion, one brother, Bobby Bourlon.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lamproe & husband, James of Uniontown, Debbie Drew & husband, Jimmy of Harrah, Oklahoma; three sons, Pepper Bourlon & wife, Julia of Rudy, Toby Bourlon of Uniontown, Terry Bourlon & wife, Nancy of Van Buren; three brothers, Jimmy Bourlon of Carmen, Oklahoma, Dicky Bourlon of Edmond, Oklahoma, Johnny Bourlon of St. Petersburg, Florida; Eighteen grandchildren & sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday March 31st 2011 at 10:00am at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Justin Bourlon, Jarrod Bourlon, Jet Turner, Spud Turner, J.J. Drew, Nick Turner.

Laura M. Gorath Bourlon, 69, of Van Buren, Arkansas died on Friday, July 9th in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Van Buren.
She was a previous employee of Kay Chair Manufacturing and the Van Buren Public School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Junna Anderson Gorath and by a son Joey Bourlon.
She is survived by her husband, Billy of the home; two daughters, Jennifer Lamproe of Uniontown, AR and Debbie Drew of Harrah, OK; three sons, Pepper Bourlon of Rudy, AR, Toby Bourlon of Uniontown and Terry Bourlon of Van Buren, AR; one sister Ester Arnold of Watonga, OK; on brother, Ernest Gorath of Perry, OK; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Justin and Jarrod Bourlon, Jet and Spud Turner, Richard Boardman and J.J. Drew.
Funeral service was held Monday, July 12, at 10:00 am at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Rev. Scott Maze officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
