Syroos Bayat-Makou entered eternity on January 4, 2012.
He was born on October 16, 1936 in Makou, Iran.

He served as a minister and was a member of The Apostolic Church.

He is survived by three children, Kay Tounzen of Natural Dam, AR., Lanla Bayat-Makou of Chicago, IL. and Isaac Bayat-Makou of the home. He also has two brothers and one sister, four grandchildren Aleshia , Londa, Cynthia and Alex and one great grandchild Harley.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley of 46 years and his mother and father.

He was self-employed and retired in 1998. He had several ministries in the Baptist Church, but his greatest joy was serving God and his children, which he did everyday of his life.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Bayat-Makou, Terry Tounzen, Clayton Hickey, Edward Carter, Josh Hickey and Vince Clamser.

Honorary pallbearers will be Waldo Gilbert and Klaus Ammons. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
