Henry Batchelor, 96, of Van Buren, died Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at a local nursing home.
He was the widower of Gertrude Batchelor, a member of the Wood Memorial Christian Church, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Uniontown Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rites. He was a former Crawford County Clerk.
He is survived by one daughter, Norma Pugh of Apollo Beach, Florida; a son, Arvel Batchelor of Hunington Beach California; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held January 12, 2004 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
