Mrs. Willie V. Gulley was born on March 28, 1928, in Chidester, Arkansas. She was the elder child born to Bruce and Ruth Ella White Hempstead who preceded her in death. She departed this life at the age of 91 on Wednesday, April 18, 2019, at 7:00 a.m.
Mother Gulley gave her life to Christ at an early age. She began her Christian life at an early age at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Chidester, Arkansas. She remained a faithful member until her health failed her. On July 26, 1951, Mother Gulley was united in Holy Matrimony to Endis Gulley to this union one child was born Ernest Gulley who preceded her in death.
Mother Gulley was a Homemaker, an avid Gardener and she loved photography. Mother Gulley never met a stranger. She was loved by all who knew her. Her smile was a ray of sunshine when she greeted you. She loved to hunt and fish with her husband. She also loved talking on the telephone with her friends and family. Mother Gulley enjoyed watching Christian Ministry TV shows.
Mother Gulley was preceded death her parents, Bruce and Ruth Ella White Hempstead, her husband, Endis Gulley, son, Ernest Gulley, sisters: Gertha Mae, Charlene, Pauline and her brother Elmore.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her sister Mrs. Earvine Ware of St. Louis, Mo, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
