1894 - 1966
Mrs. Ruth Gordon Farish, aged 72, died in the home of her son Dr. J. K. Farish in Tulsa, Okla. Friday morning. She was a former resident of Camden and a member of the First Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Gordon, well known Camden citizens. The Farish family moved away from Camden several years ago. Survivors are her husband J. K. Farish, a son of Tulsa, one brother, S. L. Gordon of Camden; one sister, Mrs. H. S. Price of Texas, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Proctor Chapel with burial in family lot in Greenwood. (Camden News - December 30, 1966)
