*When Edmund McGehee Trippe was born on February 2, 1859, in Railroad, Arkansas, his father, William, was 42 and his mother, Mary, was 33. He married Mary Elizabeth Dickson on November 20, 1884, in Desha, Arkansas. They had five children in 11 years. He died on June 7, 1930, in Desha, Arkansas, at the age of 71, and was buried there.
When Mary Elizabeth Dickson was born on July 16, 1865, in Arkansas, her father, John, was 37, and her mother, Mary, was 24. She married Edmund McGehee Trippe on November 20, 1884, in Desha, Arkansas. They had five children in 11 years. She died on November 4, 1951, in Desha, Arkansas, at the age of 86, and was buried there.
