Marilyn Ruth Scott, 78 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Boyd and Anna Marguerite (George) Carter; one son, Andrew Lance Scott.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Sarah Grove Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. The Family will visit with relatives and friends at the family home after the service.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Dean Scott of the home; two daughters, Theresa Lynn Wann of Muldrow, OK, Sandra Cynthia Armer of Dripping Spring; one son, Terry Vince Scott of Short, OK; two sisters, Nancy Carroll Ables of Van Buren, Amelia Ann Sampley of Morrilton; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale, Michael and Jeffrey Armer, Jimmy Nixon, Payton Plank and Zachery Scott.
