A.T. “Tennessee” Hodges, 78 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in his home.

He retired from Whirlpool Manufacturer in Fort Smith; He was a member of Rena Road Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora (Brown) Hodges; one daughter, Rebecca Hunter; both parents, Lon and Martha (Perry) Hodges; one grandson, William Ball.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Sarah Grove Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Swilling and husband, Robert of Van Buren; one son, Paul Hodges and wife, Alexia of Alma; two sisters, Helen Scruggs and Pat Whittimore both of Portland, Tennessee; four granddaughters, Casey Hunter of Harrah, Oklahoma, Melissa Sunday and husband, Brad and Sophia all of Van Buren, Tera and Kelly Titsworth both of Fayetteville; four grandson, Darrell and William Heister, Justin Heister and wife, Shayna and Ansely Walls all of Van Buren; Callie Hunter and wife, Sydnee of Harrah, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Burkhart, Monty Burkhart, Allen Hamilton, Robbie Sisk, Jeff Sisk and Mitchell Brown.
