Native of Greene County, Georgia
Son of Capt. William Blanks and Jane Hill

Temperance moved with her parents to Greene County, Georgia about 1805. She married twice in the 1820's and had one son Seborn Robins (8 January 1827 - 18 March 18940 Zekiel and Tempey married there on 1 March 1832. They migrated to Perry County, Alabama in about 1838/1839 and in 1842 they moved to Southern Union County, Arkansas. Ezekiel bought a 160 acre farm a few miles from here in 1846. They sold their farm in 1855 and then probably lived with their son-in-law Nathan Ogden. After Zekiel's death Tempey farmed with her widowed son Seborn until their deaths.
